Power Regulator...

posted Apr 26, 2016 04:08:03 by BrianHeston
Just received my circuit board. And the last thing I need now is the power regulator. That tiny board.
Can you get me a part number for this piece or let me know we're you purchased it? Or can you sell me one?

I'm interested also to know where you sourced the buck converter so I can find out the datasheet and specs of this part. Anytime you have a second, that would be great!

Why not powering the Nano with the 5V provided by this buck converter in stead of the vehicule 12V? This would avoid to damage directly the Nano with the huge voltage spikes that can happen on a car, typically when one is jump starting the car.

Many thanks for the great work Jon!

Hey guys, I've assembled my own and had to do some research for this part. It's a part by Murata and the part number is OKI-78sr-5/1.5
